Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed. Getting to the front porch of the house (via GPS) was a bit of a challenge since Google Maps didn't know that there were footpaths leading to it but once we found it all was perfect!"

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this home. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with dishes and utensils for 10 people and all the pots, pans, and serving dishes we needed. The weekend we stayed, the wind chills were in the negatives, but the house was cozy. The walls are very "thin," though; beware that the person in the next bedroom can hear every word you say ; ) The house was clean enough. "This is our second time staying at the cottage. We traveled to Hershey for work and attended a nearby conference. The cottage's proximity to Hershey, our conference, local restaurants, fast food, gas stations, and convenience stores was key! The cottage is so clean and welcoming, and we were excited the weather allowed us to spend a few nights outdoors by the fire pit. It is a true gem with all the amenities and then some. I highly recommend it! "

"Girls weekend! Loved all the details of the home ! The kitchen was adorable and comfy table with gorgeous views . Living room had fireplace that was gorgeous. Great instructions throughout to help with fire , lock door, etc . Beds were incredibly comfortable . Bathroom had extra supplies if needed and loads of towels . Would definitely stay again ! "The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water."
