The water was not as clear as I expected and we were disappointed not to be able to walk around the island Happy we brought a scrabble game and a book! "This is a jewel for those who are looking for a unique and peaceful place were you can rest, enjoy the sound of the ocean, the birds, the colors, the nature. A different kind of tourism that is not the typical full of parties and music. They welcomed us with a drink and a smile. Along our stay Sergio, his wife and the ladies in the kitchen, all of them were very kind and amazing people. They are part of the beauty of this place. Thank you to all staff! The rooms are like in the photos, probably even better in person (we stayed at the one with the ocean view). There is a small beach, but it is enough and it makes all sense that is not more than that as it gives you this feeling of privacy. I LOVE the fact they respect the mangles and haven't being intruse or destroyed the nature. This has LOTS of value in the middle of all the other chains of hotels, that are full of truism without conscious. The food is delicious although expensive (however this is common in Cartagena). As something that can be improved, I believe that for what you pay per night, a bottle of water would be good to give to the guests. Because the hotel is in a private place, there is no access to stores, grocery shops, etc. So if you get thirsty at 10pm, you will need to buy a mini-bottle whose price is elevate, so at least a bottle of water per guest per day could be offered (without charges). This is that kind of stay that you want to repeat."
