"We have visited Cordes sur Ciel many times. Maison Felix is in an ideal location to visit Cordes and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The house is exactly as described, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, heaters in all the rooms, good lighting, and cozy seating areas. The hosts provided croissants, baguette, and wine which was a nice welcome. There is a bucolic garden around the back. It was a perfect place to stay for me, my wife and adult daughter."

"This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"

"The house was perfect for us. Plenty of space for 4 adults to spread out, with everything you need regarding seating and cooking facilities. It has comfy beds and plenty of storage space. Lovely seating by the pool and on the deck area, with views over the river and Roc d’Anglars. Lesley and Rob look after the property very well and are on hand for any queries or problems. The pool is big and a good depth, and kept very clean. I’d suggest flip flops on the deck though when it’s hot. There is lots to do and see in the area and Saint Antonin is a gem, so vibrant. The 2 supermarkets are small but had everything we needed and the local restaurants were good. We used ActiEauxVivres, for kayaking and there’s a couple of launch points nearby if you bring your own kit. It’s a shame the gate down to the river isn’t in use anymore, but it did look steep anyway. Do use the plug in insect repellants provided and anything else you may use, we got bit a lot! We would recommend the house and would go again."

"We had an 11 night family holiday in this lovely house located a few kms from Cordes but in a very tranquil and peaceful location in a small village. The house is beautifully and sympathetically restored with a lot of character . It also has all the necessary mod cons for a family stay and everything worked really well. There is no air con but with the thick stone walls and wood shutters the house stays nice and cool inside as long as you remember to keep the shutters shut ! The garden and pool area were particularly lovely. The house faces the village church which you can see from the bedroom windows. Very pretty ! We particularly enjoyed dining outside in the evening under the covered terrace. Worked really well being a few steps from the large and very well equipped kitchen . The location of the house is ideal for visiting places of interest in the region including Cordes, Albi, St Antoine de Nobal Val . We particularly enjoyed Narjac and also managed a trip up to the Lot valley. Favourite activity was kayaking on both the Aveyron and the Cele, the latter being in the Lot Valley. The host Elsa was excellent to deal with throughout , very prompt to come back with any questions we had. We would not hesitate recommending booking this host and house for a holiday in the Tarn."
