" This property was beyond all our expectations. Charming and beautifully appointed countryside home. Every detail was taken care of. Jean-Paul was excellent host! Original stone walls, beautiful hardwood floors and most comfortable beds. French doors on every turn with views you cannot imagine. I loved the kitchen so much that we decided to have evening meals at the home. The "marshe" at La Fouillade just a few miles away had farm to table galour! The History in this area is unbelievable. "

"We had a fab family holiday in the Tarn. The property was very well maintained inside and out and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Elsa was very responsive and all correspondence was quick and efficient. She very kindly offered to send us our sun hats that we left behind in our hasty departure! We took our own bikes and enjoyed cycling in the mornings from a number of local villages/towns within 20-30 mins of the house (helped by Komoot app). We also used our paddle boards around Laguépie. The afternoons were mostly spent by the pool, which was very clean and a good size. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. It’s a great location to explore and a wonderful house. "

"We’ve just returned from a very relaxing 2 weeks at this lovely property. The house is tucked away down a very narrow lane at the end of a small hamlet. The owners’ directions were very clear and helpful. We loved the quirkiness and traditional features of the house and the huge garden, outside areas and pool were delightful (we did think that for families with younger children or non-swimmers, it would be helpful to have depth markings in the pool as it shelves quite steeply). The views over the garden are wonderful and we were lucky to see some red deer in the garden. We didn’t use the tennis court but it’s a great feature and we would recommend bringing your racquets. It’s a big house and suited us well as 2 couples; we had a double bedroom and bathroom each (the large basement bedroom a very nice en-suite); the first floor double using a family bathroom downstairs on the ground floor. The other two bedrooms are accessed by separate spiral staircases. The one is a loft room with a handbasin and bidet but no door. This may not work for another couple but would be fine for older children. Interaction with the host was great throughout. Eric replied quickly and helpfully via email to a couple of minor questions whilst we were there. Overall, the house is very well-equipped and in a great location to offer a complete “get away from it all” break whilst being in easy reach of the many beautiful bastide villages and towns in the region.
