"Staying in the family room with a view over the Duoro from the balcony, this clean and spacious room was beyond perfect. Small kitchen with hon, dishwasher, fridge, microwave. Rain shower in the bathroom with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Mini fridge stocked with reasonably priced goods, and a small bottle of wine upon arrival. Verónica and Miguel were superb hosts. Could not have asked for more."

"The best thing about this property is its location. Rua de Flores is a no-car street with restaurants and shops an easy walk to the train station and down to the waterfront. My studio was spartan. Furnished by Ikea. Nice but there was no comfortable chair to relax on. A small table with two plastic chairs and the bed. "Walking distance to Porto’s main sites, plenty of places to eat and shop. Elevator starts on the 2nd floor so you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs; the bathroom was very clean but needs more lighting. Front desk was very helpful snd friendly"

"Beautiful views across the Douro looking towards Porto in a buzzing area. Well equipped and comfortable apartment in a convenient location. We had a relaxing break and enjoyed watching the boats and world go by. Hosts were very interactive throughout our stay and allowed us to leave luggage in special lockers at the end of our stay! "

"The apartment was spacious and clean with a cute little balcony. It was in a good area with a 24 hour shop right next door. I did need to contact the staff who are not actually at the location as we had a little trouble getting in originally but they responded quickly and it seemed to be a user error. We just needed to jiggle the key a little more as they’re older doors. The staff was also gracious enough to let us store our luggage both before check in and after check out with no issues at a...

"What a terrible experience. The property requires an access code to enter the rooms and I didn't receive the access code for my first night. I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer. I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...

"Is a great location to stay in central Porto. Central to everything. Very close to bar district. Right beside the tower in Porto making it easy to find. Place was clean and well stocked. One thing to be aware of is the elevator is small and hits only every second floor so some steps are required. It's not located directly on a street that has car access. Driving in Porto can be a challenge so plan your route accordingly. The parking they provide might be 400 m and 300 ft in elevation...

The room was spacious, spotless and newly furnished. Kitchen was essentially fully equipped. No washer/dryer in the unit but that depends on your needs. Twins beds were comfortable. "If I could move into the GA Palace Hotel, I would. Everyone was welcoming from the first minute we arrived. The room was amazing as was the spa. And the breakfast, I could have sat there all day if there wasn't so much to see. The location was great and we walked almost everywhere. I hope to return soon! If you are reading this, don't think- just book now. "
