"We had a very pleasant stay in Blandine’s well appointed gite. She welcomed us warmly, with a guided tour, information pack relating to accommodation, maps and guides for local walks and points of interest. She was nearby in case of queries, too. Guise is a small town, and can be reached on foot, for supermarket, bakery, cafes etc. There are many lovely walks nearby and wide country views."

"We stayed for 7 nights and had a great time. The children loved exploring on their bikes, feeding the horses and visiting the local swimming pool. Cottage was very well equipped and the hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"We were welcomed as soon as we arrived by our lovely hosts. It really was a very peaceful getaway. The gite is well equipped and the shared pool, games room and mini gym are a great feature."

"Agréablement surprise la chambre est grandiose on dirait une vraie suite. Dormir dans un château c'était top et calme je me suis sentie privilégié. Comme une princesse ! Lieu très sécurisé et surveillé. La literie est très confortable. "Rooms have been modernised, bed comfortable and a quiet location. The stand-out feature is the excellent restaurant with a varied menu and prices and great service and a reasonably priced wine selection. Overall great value. We now always stay here on the way back from skiing in the Alps! "

Great stop off on the way to the Alps

"We needed a stop off for our trip to the Alps, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. The check in was easy and the rooms were comfy and warm. There are various food options in close proximity, petrol station near by and supermarket. "

"The area has very little public parking available, however the hotel has it's own secure parking for a reasonable fee. The person at the reception when I arrived was very pleasant and helpful. The room is small but convenient for an overnight stop. The bed was comfortable. There is a good selection of food for breakfast. All in all I was happy with my stay "

Gorgeous rural stay

"We only stayed for one night at this gorgeous hotel. It’s a stunning building which has obviously had a lot of money, time and effort put into it. The surrounding area is quiet and rural. Our room was compact but beautifully decorated in a traditional french style. We ate in the hotel on the evening, the service and food were lovely. Unfortunately due to an early start we were unable to have breakfast. "
