"This is a lovely hotel. The staff I interacted with were really friendly and welcoming. The room was a single room, and was clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was great and towels fluffy. One thing I would say is that the door to the bathroom is clear - not a problem for me as I was alone (and think my room was meant for one). Not sure if other room types have the same set up but may be worth checking as, if you’re sharing a room, depending on who you’re travelling with, this may not be suitable. That isn’t meant as a criticism at all - just think it’s something I would want to know in advance. The location was perfect as it’s close to the beautiful Lake Annecy, and also close to lots of bars / restaurants nearby. It also felt really safe as a solo female traveller. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel. "

"We were only in Annecy for 1 day to visit with our exchange student & his family. The hotel is absolutely beautiful & the view of the lake was stunning from our balcony. We absolutely will come back if we are lucky enough. "

"The room was pretty big and with a minikitchen, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, there was a free coffee/tea and apples in a common area, friendly staff, most of whom spoke very good English. The location was walkable and quiet, except on Friday evening, when a bar nearby had loud boom-boom music outside. Importantly, I couldn’t hear the other guests. Absolutely recommend!"

"The con: There was a lot of construction around the hotel. Lots of traffic. The property itself was excellent. The included breakfast was excellent. The views of the park/ lake were spectacular. "

For example there was hot coffee choices or tea every afternoon, with cookies. Each hotel employee was helpful and kind. We would definitely stay there again if in Annecy. "
