"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. La dite "suite parentale atypique" est en réalité un couchage exigu, sans fenêtre ni aération, en haut d'une tourelle à laquelle on accède laborieusement par une salle d'eau mal concue (espace rapidement inondé par la douche). "Excellent communication beforehand. Arranged meal on first night which was excellent. Owners very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The house was so clean, the two bathrooms were a godsend so no hanging about waiting for them to become vacant. Lovely sitting area outside even though it was a bit chilly in the evenings. Local area is full of lovely places to visit."

It is in a part of France with much to offer in terms of activities like cycling, canoeing, eating and just admiring the beautiful villages. "We thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor aspects of the property. The 800 year old tower was magnificent and truly unique. The terrace and the porch were great places to have breakfast and play games in the evening. The pool and the badminton court were a perfect way to end day after exploring wonderful nearby villages.
