"The location is very rural and quiet. The hotel rooms are fine however the bathrooms are dated. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived. A disappointing start to our holiday

"We arrived to be met by a lady who could not speak any English; my husband speaks French but we struggled to follow her. The apartment was very dusty and had cobwebs with mould in the shower cubicle. It was musty and felt as if it had not been cleaned since winter. Our details with VBRO had listed bed linen and towels - as had Abritel, the French site - but there were none at the apartment. We called the lady who shouted at us on the phone but eventually arrived to argue more, saying we had to pay extra. We pointed out that linen and towels were included and listed on the sites but she would not accept it. She eventually went to one of the other apartments in the block and returned with 2 small bath towels and three small hand towels (for three adults for a week). She gave us very damp bed linen and left in a hurry. We had no more contact with her or anyone else for the week. We left the apartment cleaner than when we first went in. We love the area - we used to live not too far away for many years - but this left a bad taste. We will not be returning to this chalet apartment."

Calm, conviviality and change of scenery for unforgettable holidays

Great location for a family

"Great spot for a family. Walking distance to trails, restaurants, stores, even an outdoor play space for kids (with ponies and a zip line). The view from the backyard is incredible. Reminder- you need to rent your own bedsheets and towels in town."

Lovely chalet in great location

"The chalet was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space in which to relax after a day on the slopes. Kitchen was well equipped and great to have three bathrooms in a chalet of this size. Views towards the slopes were amazing, made all the better because we had beautiful weather. Everything you need is within a 15min walk albeit it’s a relatively steep climb back to the chalet but don’t cause us any issues. There is a bus stop very near to the chalet if needed. Karine was very quick to respond to messages if we had queries and the check in and out process was simple. We had no complaints at all but would only suggest: sharper knives in the kitchen and a little more information on the chalet instructions with perhaps an English translation if possible. Highly recommended"
