"The staff were helpful and the facilities were good at the property, ski in ski out, raclette to hire also thank you so much to the ladies and Charles at the other Azureva (Les confin) for sorting out our ski hire and making renting very smooth for us, great attention to detail. "On the day we booked the hotel, the reception had been closed since the afternoon. We went to the hotel to check in in the evening, but we couldn’t enter. We became panicky. Then I found the hotel had emailed me about it and left the code for the entrance etc. you don’t usually imagine that the reception is closed, so I didn’t check the email from the hotel before arrived there…The hotel explained that this sort of thing doesn’t happen usually. The rest everything else’s was good!"

"Exactly as described, great location across the road from ski bus stop, free parking on site. Excellent communication with host - we found the washing machine wasn’t working properly and they sorted it within 24 hours - thank you"

Chalet in French Alps - Beautiful, quiet location

Family Ski Holiday

"We were 2 families staying in the chalet for a ski holiday. It was perfect for what we needed. In a quiet location just outside Le Grand Bornand. We had cars and drove down to the lift every day which worked well. We walked down in to the town one day although the hill back up is quite steep. Highly recommended."

Lovely apartment at Chinaillon

"A very compact and fully equipped apartment; the place is clean and very convenient to the ski lift. Everything is as described and the parking lot is a plus.The only problem is there is no wifi, that is very difficult and we have to walk to the Tourism office and sat there for wifi; as my phone network was not good."

Great chalet with wonderful views

"This was our second stay in this chalet and we had another thoroughly enjoyable week. The chalet is warm and clean and benefits from the sun streaming into the property. Le Grand Bornand is a great village with restaurants and shops and the ski area is friendly and perfect for family or leisure skiing. Would be very happy to stay again some day !"

"House was perfect for our stay. Great location, very comfortable and and excellent communication with the owners through Murielle . . . Very much appreciated! The heated floors on the main floor was a great “touch” as well in addition to the wine that was provided. Many thanks!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Chalets de Joy this year. The property is new, immaculately clean and spacious apartments. We love that the residence has the facilities of a modern alpine hotel, with the space and convenience of your own apartment. For winter ski lift access however, it is a 5 minute walk down a relatively steep hill with your ski equipment. We decided to drive down to the gondola instead, which was a little disappointing as we were not expecting this. "
