"Property is in need of a refresh, but given I was skiing and dining most of the time, it didn’t matter much. The convenience and location were worth it. Mattress was also too hard!"

"Lovely hotel and deluxe room was spacious. We went for half board but it only offers two sittings which we didn’t know when booking. We couldn’t get the early sitting on three nights so had option of either eating at 8.45pm which is too late after a long day’s skiing or having to pay to eat out which is what we went for when we couldn’t wait. "I recently stayed at a hotel and would like to share my experience with you. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar was very nice with great cocktails. One of the highlights of the hotel was its ski in and out feature, which was a massive plus for me. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast as it lacked fresh fruit and only had one small coffee machine. The powdered eggs were also not up to par. "Excellent location close to the Chaudanne lift. Enjoyed the Sauna/hot tub every night after skiing. Well-proportioned apartment, although we were not sure why the detailed inventory was needed - if you stay in a place like this, you don't steal a spoon. "

Truly wonderful

"The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean as are all of the public areas. Very attentive and polite staff throughout our stay in all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was extensive with extras available from the kitchen. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was fabulous. The bar very comfortable and welcoming. We used the spa and again it was clean and an experience to enjoy. Absolutely recommend a stay here."

"Excellent location. Excellent value for money. The best 2 bartenders in the world (shoutout to George and Freddie for the exceptional service and sharing yoir drink making artistry!). Nice to be able to book a private 30 min hot tub (would be great if it was a touch hotter and a little less bubbly!) the themed dinner nights were excellent and the food very good. We opted for the half board which was excellent value (even considering we opted for one night out at Les Coursives in Meribel village which was the best French food I’ve ever tasted!). Suggest a kettle in the dining room for those of us who like scalding hot tea :) The rooms were big and the beds comfy. Our room had carpet which I personally hate. The lounge was kitschy and cool and had just the right feel before and apres ski. Loved the combo of old charm and low tech with all you need for a delightful stay and this quirky spot. Would definitely come back. "
