Located in a sprawling plot of 2 acres (8000m2) with 250m2 floor space, our villa is a perfect fit for a family or a group of friends up to 8 people. Away from the bustle of the town centers yet only a 15-minute drive to one of the largest towns and main ports, the location offers privacy and convenience along with unadulterated countryside, with hiking and stargazing opportunities. Lovingly crafted, generous spaces, filled with character and warm touches, offer functional, comfortable, and relaxing accommodation. Two separate terraces and a patio offer various entertainment options with mesmerizing views, and the main secluded beach is a mere 2-minute walk from the house along a private road, also accessible by car, up to the beachfront.
The space
Arranged over two levels are one double bedroom and shower room (upper/entrance level) and two twin rooms, a main shared bathroom, and a luxury master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (lower level). All bedrooms and living areas offer sea views.
The villa is designed and decorated in a traditional Greek vernacular style, furnished throughout with solid wood furniture made by local craftsmen in keeping with the character of the house, and fully equipped with all typical household amenities. There are two kitchens, with the larger kitchen having direct access to one of the terraces overlooking the small bay and the second kitchen leading to the spacious patio surrounding the house at the lower level. The well-fitted main kitchen has all necessities including a coffee machine, microwave, washing machine and a dining table for 8 guests whereas the lower level kitchen is ideal for cold food preparation and your morning coffee, with a small electric hob and a breakfast table for 2.
The island of Leros benefits from a particularly good summer climate with mildly warm temperatures, a cooling sea breeze, and a dry heat that doesn't feel too hot. Thanks to the large double aspect windows and French doors the villa is airy, with beautiful natural light and ample natural ventilation throughout the day. For additional comfort, there is an air conditioner in the upper-level bedroom if required.
During the mild winter months, storage heaters supply all rooms with comfortable even temperature levels. There is also a working stone fireplace in the living room.
The outdoor area is very generous, with several mature fruits, olive and ornamental trees, shrubs, and flowers on various levels across the sloping site and a private path to two very quiet beaches of untamed beauty.
Spacious outdoor areas provide guests with breathtaking sea views where you can enjoy magnificent sunrises and sunsets overlooking the islets.
Guest access
Access is granted to the whole house and the use of the 2-acre plot. We will be here to welcome you on your arrival to provide you with the keys and all the information you need on the house.
Other things to note
We advise you to arrange a car rental to get around the island easily. Let us know if you need any assistance with that.
We will be readily available for anything you may need during your stay and can assist you with arranging any extra services you may require as well as provide you with local information on the numerous places worth exploring, sites of historical interest, local cuisine and restaurants, interesting walks and nightlife options.
Well behaved pets are always welcome at the property, we understand that your dog or cat is part of the family who simply can’t be left behind when you go away. We believe that luxury holiday accommodation can still be pet-friendly and island holidays are ideal for adventures with your pet companions. We can also provide a dog bowl and towels and the additional outdoor shower can be convenient for a quick rinse for both you and your pets after a long day on the beach or exploring the countryside. Please note pets are not allowed on the beds and upholstered seating areas. A separate cleaning charge may be applied if this is not respected.
