"With the beach opposite the hotel this was a fantastic overnight stop. It would have been worth pre-booking parking, though we were able to book the last space. There are traffic restrictions in place, but the hotel arrange the correct authorities are notified for you so that any penalties are avoided. A beautiful family room with direct access to the roof terrace."

"The view is fantastic and the property is well-maintained and clean. Only small issue is the parking outside the property that is not really near if you have luggage, worth to evaluate the hotel parking, even if more expensive"

"My favorite boutique hotel ever! It is so quaint and quiet and right in front of the sea. I love how small it is with just a few rooms. The staff treat you like family and are always very helpful. And the complimentary breakfast with the view is wonderful! And there are so many things to see and do within walking distance."

"The setting of the hotel is beautiful; however, the hotel is not particularly equipped to deal with international guests. My experience in August was anything but relaxing with screaming Italian children at the beach, unattended and unsupervised by their parents. The restaurant serves the same thing every day (i.e., pasta dishes), and the food is just average. I left two days earlier than scheduled. The hotel pricing for everything (i.e., for accommodations, food, etc.) does not equate with...

"Mauro was a gracious and welcoming host! The property, although secluded and if driving, is on top of a very winding road, is well appointed with a patio that offers a spectacular view of Lerici. The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! There is little wi-fi, so if that is a necessity, you may need to provide your own hot spot. "

"Loved our stay for our 5th Anniversary. Was upgraded to the Golfo room! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely dinner with family. Service was impeccable! Thank you Doria Park Hotel!"

"Quadruple room was too small even for 1 person. We stayed in much bigger and better hotel in nearby La Spezia for half the price. Also the description was misleading, it said 2 double beds and 2 single beds, while it actually was 1 double bed (which is for 2 people) and 1 bunk bed. Check in was cumbersome as they couldn't explain in clear English that that room can actually take 4 people, also the room reeked tobacco smoke (though they changed it after). "Lerici is a beautiful little seaside town which is no where near as crowded as the Cinque Terra. The property is beautiful and has lovely views. If you are an older person, the climb to get there is a bit difficult, especially with luggage. You cannot drive to the entrance. But if that is not a concern for you I would highly recommend it."

"Great proximity to the marina and the train station. Unfortunately- we were there during the off season so half of the shops and restaurants were closed... which was a real bummer but even the restaurants that were open, didn't have a lot of patronage so I understand. We had a room with a view and the only bummer about it was that it was right next to the office which can be a little noisy during the day. Otherwise- the owners were great and the facility was very hospitable in meeting us at the train station. Would recommend! "
