"Stayed here overnight as we had tickets for the RC Lens football match. The hotel couldn't be better placed for the stadium. Literally across the stadium car park - which for myself with limited mobility was perfect. Though as a side note, the stadium seating is very steep, and was very difficult for me. "The hotel was opposite Lens train station so ideal for the RWC trip we had. The hotel didnt open after lunch until 2pm... on the details it said 1.30pm & on the door of the hotel 1pm. The lady was very welcoming once she arrived though. Very basic room & the bed wasn't very comfortable.... our sons single bed was comfy.p"

"It said in my booking free breakfast but when I had to check out at 11 the reception that was just a bar table in a restaurant not open. So I didn’t receive any breakfast and there were no-one to ask about it. The shower was not connected to the room it had it’s own little room with a simple shower in the corridor and there were no good place to put my clean clothes so I had to put them on the floor and since there were no shower curtain and there was like 30-50 cm of floor between the shower...

"What a gem - from the outside, absolutely nothing special, but inside a delight. Fairly compact room but the high ceiling made it feel spacious. Very clean and an excellent shower. Friendly welcome, despite our limited French and the staff member's limited English - also very helpful in explaining the Sunday parking tariff outside the hotel. Good breakfast too. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a stay in Lens."
