"My two girls and I had a most wonderful stay at the cozy home. We loved being nestled in the woods away from the main road. We saw deer and groundhogs, and made smores by the fire. The house was spacious and comfy, providing ample entertainment for my kids (lots of movies!) and myself (peaceful back deck). Leona was extremely helpful and responsive at all times, outfitting her house with lots of little things to help us have a wonderful time. I highly recommend this property, and would come back...

"My husband, son and I had to stay in Reading area for state wrestling tournament for the weekend and wanted something more comfortable than a hotel. This home was so relaxing after the long days at the tournament. You could hear the water from the creek running while relaxing in the living room. The home had all the amenities needed for our stay. Communication with the owner was seamless. We would love to stay again if we are in the area."

"This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one remains one of my favorites. The owners are lovely and wonderful to work (and talk!) with. "Very clean. Nice staff. Had an accessible room, only issue was there was a raised threshold into the bathroom and it’s difficult to get in there with a wheelchair. Also outside at the handicap entrance the concrete isn’t smooth and the wheelchair got caught. Bathroom was very roomy. Beds were comfortable. Hotel has odd alleyway type road that you have to go down to get there. If they would light up the smaller Ramada sign on the main road it would be much easier to see where you turn in. Would stay there again. Had HBO on tv. Room rates were reasonable also.only stayed 1 nite so didn’t use any amenities. Very close to PPL Center."
