"Overnight Stay. Lovely Hotel with Delicious Breakfast. Outstanding customer Service! The stay responded immediately to any questions before we arrived. They have 24/7 front desk - big plus! The “castle” is a short taxi ride from the Stena ferry and across from the CityLink bus stop - very convenient! We arrived late at 10pm on the Stena Ferry from Ireland. Thanks to the hotel sharing the Taci number, I called ahead and scheduled a ride who was waiting for us when we got off the ferry. Alan greeted us at the hotel to give us our room key. He was so nice and brought us extra bath towels (which are quite large) and a portable fan, as my sons get very hot - even with the night air through the window.). Very kind of Alan. The beds were very comfortable. The shower had good pressure. We had paid for the breakfast - which I recommend highly. It was delicious. You could self serve with cereal, fruit, juice, yogurt, toast and yummy croissants - or order off the menu. Their black pudding and Haggis was delicious! It was our first time to try both. As we walked out to catch the CityLink bus across the street, we could see the water and small town. Such a beautiful small town. It was a lovely overnight stay. We wish we could have stayed longer."

"Przytulny, wygodny hotelik w znakomitej lokalizacji. Blisko do autobusu, do muzeów i niedaleko od plaży. Uprzejmy, pomocny personel - nie było żadnego kłopotu z zamianą pokoju na bardziej komfortowy oraz z późniejszym wymeldowaniem. Zachwycił mnie pomysł ze śniadaniem, na które nie trzeba schodzić w określonych godzinach. Wszystko, co potrzebne do śniadania znajduje się już w pokoju, częściowo na przeznaczonym do tego stoliku, a częściowo w znajdującej się w pokoju lodówce. Żadnego stresu z budzeniem się i spieszeniem na śniadanie, wszystko w zasięgu ręki i o pasującej mi porze:-))) Nie podobały mi się tylko trzy rzeczy. Po pierwsze pół litra mleka, to zdecydowanie za mało na dwie osoby. Po drugie pod prysznicem nie było nawet najmniejszej półeczki, żeby położyć mydło lub szampon, a papier toaletowy też nie miał żadnego uchwytu, co niestety nie było zbyt wygodne. Po trzecie łóżka, choć bardzo wygodne, były bardzo wąskie, nigdy nie widziałam tak wąskich łóżek i obawiałam się nieco, że spadnę. Poza tymi mankamentami uważam pobyt za bardzo udany, a już na pewno można polecić ten hotel na krótszy pobyt. "

"The night staff and dinner ataff were amazing. The morning staff was not their at 8 am, as stated, ao we did not get breakfast before leaving. The morning manager waa rude via messaging and called us liars even though we were there at 8 am and knocked. "

"I found this property when we had to move out earlier than planed for renovation works to our house. On arrival we were all stunned at the beauty on the gardens , the wild life, the fact we appear to be the only guests. Staff were amazing as i had 1 night were we had no where to staff, and staff were able to accommodate us. If you are looking for peace tranquillity i would highly recommend this place. Thank you to the owners for blessing us the opportunity of staying in your property. Absolutely Amazing!"

"Stayed over during Hogmanay and New Year's Day for somewhere quiet and peaceful.(Particularly relevant if you have a nervous dog like I do who is fearful of fireworks).Lovely location."
