"We really enjoyed our stay at Tawi Lodge. We saw elephants and zebras at the watering hole while having lunch - which was such a joyous experience. We really enjoyed our meals at Tawi Lodge, which were of a very high quality. We did think some of the portion sizes for dinner were way too big and hence maybe clients should be offered a sharing portion to avoid wastage? "Let me start by saying the staff and service was excellent. You could not fault them for trying to please and ensuring that they made you as welcome and comfortable as possible. But the camp itself was very run down and showers and general facilities disappointing. The blame for this has to be with the owners of the camp who have failed to spend money on decent facilities. "The view ist great. Right under the Killimanjaro. Thomas, the owner ist a good Guy. Our room was new painted. So the bathroom of the master bedroom was not useable. Bathrooms have no Windows, always wet. Outside is still construction side. So Always wear shoes. There ist a new Pool. Accommodation is not lockable, better, it would be, but there ist no lock. Good for one ore two nights. "
