There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. "This quiet back-water close to the town of Makkum makes an ideal base for chilling out and communing with nature. For the bird-lover the area teems with wildfowl. We heard a Bittern. We used the spacious accommodation as a base for cycling and were not disappointed. The hosts were kind and considerate. Home-produce was available from this small-holding."

"I helped a friend book this for herself and her 5 daughters. For the daughters, it was their first time to The Netherlands and thats why i wanted them to stay in Enkhuizen. It is the most beautiful town! When they arrived in the house, rhey sent me a message and said - wow!!!! Tulpenhuis is the perfect place for a family or small group of friends. "Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts. "Wir haben den Bungalow mit 5 Frauen gemietet um unseren gemeinsamen Studienabschluss zu feiern und etwas Erholung zu finden. Lemmer war dafür ein Idealer Ort. Der Bungalow war modern und durchdacht eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Im Garten ließ es sich herrlich in ruhiger Umgebung entspannen.
