"Saw Nyein San Guesthouse is a place that I would highly recommend staying at due to the convenient location and hospitality of the owner. I stayed 2 nights here and the double bedroom was spacious. Air conditioning worked well, and so did the Wi-Fi. The toilet also had a bath tub and hot water was available. When I arrived at 6am by bus, I was able to check in immediately and get a good rest. "The property is dated, the grounds are well kept and the pool is inviting but very very cold. I was the only guest in the hotel. I booked online with no issue but when I checked in the owner insisted on cash only. I had the cash but not what I was expecting. There was not hot water to shower with. The bed is very old and uncomfortable you can feel every spring in the mattress. I would not recommend this hotel. "

However, upon arriving at this hotel we were informed of several lies Expedia told us: 1) The hotel does not allow foreign guests 2) The hotel has not accepted third party reservations for over two years.
