"This was our first time staying at Mountaineer Casino. It was a nice experience. Had the wood fired pizza at Gatsby’s. Very good. The casino was very clean and did not have that smoky/stale beer smell. Good mix of older and newer machines. Had a little luck there as well. The restrooms actually had a pleasant smell, which is rare! The rooms are due for an update but couldn’t your own house use one too? Staff was nice as well. Will return !! "

"Excellent hosts! The pictures do this place no justice, it way exceeded our expectations! I can’t wait to come back when it’s snowy. I already miss the smell of cedar! I highly recommend the Spread Eagle Tavern for some history and a nice candle lit dinner! Perfect little getaway! "

"This house is deceivingly huge on the inside. Everything is clean and well stocked. Lots of seating and sleeping. The pool is amazing! Comfy bed. Very responsive owners. Could not have been better. We would definitely stay again for the pool alone. "

"The owners have really thought of everything. The house is well laid out and much bigger than it looks from the outside. The back patio area is very spacious with 2 patio areas and a hot tub. Ample parking and very quiet street this time of year. Several places to eat and drink within minutes. We would definitely stay here again. My one critique is the house could use a deep clean. "
