"The room was good and spacious and the security system is very excellent. The shower head was a bit too tall and the bed needs mattress protectors because of possible contamination from previous users. The mattress was too hard. The room was really clean and I loved the numerous plugs in the ensuite we used . The bed is too low. It is an affordable facility and for the price it was worth it. "Awesome welcome from Emma on reception. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Our room was reached from outside - not sure how secure it is. Room was clean - stairway less so. Damp smell in bathroom and shower was either very hot or cold! Should be a TV in the bedroom. The “strictly” element of the signs outside is not terribly welcoming We will stay here again - mainly because of the location and the staff"

"Just had a one night stay at The Wight, first impressions were very dated and tired. The staff there were amazing, so helpful and friendly and really made it for us. "Unable to check in at 3 as required. Messed around for over an hour. Given the code for my room and it was already taken. Mine was a large room with a double bed. I was given a substitute small room with single bed that squeaked everytime you moved. Stuff on the side for hot drinks but no kettle or mug. An utter shambles of a place in poor condition "
