It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. There are plentiful restaurants and crossing the river there are many port( fortified wine) companies where you can do tours and tastings. "Super friendly staff a credit to the hotel. Rooms were great and the hotel benefits from a spa with gym and treatment rooms. Food in the first floor restaurant was outstanding and the bar has a happy hour downstairs from 3pm. Hotel is in proximity to a host of great restaurants and bars but dont be suprised if they dont open before 7pm. great base for Porto sightseeing. Probably a good idea not to bring a vehicle as parking is limited and expensive around the hotel."
