Lake Erie's charming 4 season Lake Houz with BBQ, Fire Pit & more

Our LakeHouz is 4 Season & accommodates up to 6 people w/ 2 bedrooms including a spacious loft with king bed , electric fireplace, workspace, smart TV, mini fridge & private Ensuite with Jacuzzi Tub & stand up shower… a perfect little retreat with great lots of windows and gorgeous views Sunrises on the lake. The main floor bedroom has a comfy Queen bed & quality linens, lots of drawer space & walk-in closet.

Our spacious family room includes a wood burning stove for those chilly fall / winter days and evenings, a Queen size Murphy Bed, smart TV , a large family friendly coffee table perfect for the family to sit around for hours playing games or just hanging out. We offer plenty of books, magazine, puzzles and games… something for everyone, including children’s books & crossword puzzles.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with spice rack, mixing bowls, air fryer, hand mixer, rice cooker & more! The dining table seats 6 + 3 bar stools for gathering around the island with family & friends. We also have a fun high top bar/ table for a cup of morning Joe overlooking beautiful lake views, Watching ducks and fishing boats on the lake, this table also doubles as a workspace fitted w/ a power bar & USB charging.

Our living spaces are all designed with family and friends gathering in mind. Each area is spacious enough for everyone to hang out, including our fun sunny Screened in porch perfectly fitted with a bar fridge for extra drinks, a comfy conversational set, patio table for meals over looking beautiful sunsets, coat & boot rack, and more games & magazines living rooms.

Our outdoor spaces include a propane BBQ, fire pit, outdoor dining for 6, and more.
Our LakeHouz has been coined a birders paradise with the most beautiful views of sunrises & sunsets… It doesn’t hurt that we’re Neighbours with local Birding guide and expert “Pelee Birding”.

This isn’t just a cottage. It’s truly a home away from home and offers all the comforts you’d want & more. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do and as much our guests have since August 2022 … making memories for years to come

Great place with beautiful views
My wife and I stayed here for a few days in July and loved it. If you are looking for a nice quiet house on the water you can’t get much better than here. It’s a short drive from point pelee as well which was nice. The deck overlooking the water was great to relax on and have a fire in the chimnea. Would recommend!

The property was lovely and the view over the water was breath taking. The host thought of everything! Beautiful cottage with very thoughtful decorating, such a gorgeous place. Close enough to amenities but a nice quiet spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great except the deck really could of used a spring cleaning.. We also could of used a few more face cloths and towels and we couldn't find a pizza cutter.

Perfect place!
The Lake Houz has an amazing view, is very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. It is in a quiet area and just a short drive to Point Pelee National Park. We enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!

We loved being able to look out over the water! It was a restful, quiet place, but not too far from Leamington. There were lots of small touches that made it a lovely stay—thanks!

Weekend Birding
Very pleasant place to stay! I wish we had a little extra time to sit on the dock or play the giant Jenga in front solarium/covered porch. We still managed to have a campfire after our birding excursions at least. I definitely recommend staying here if you can and we'll certainly consider coming back here in the future.

Adorable Cottage
Our 3 night stay was amazing! It was a beautiful cottage with lots of room and all the extra little touches to make it a very comfortable stay. The wood stove made for a very cozy atmosphere and the kitchen was large with all the best appliances. If you are looking for a place to unwind, this is the place! It's on our list to go agani!

Very cozy residence
We were there to bird. We had a few days of bad weather and hole up in the houz. It was so comfy. I don’t think I’ve weathered out storms in more comfortable digs. Nights were dark and quiet, making for sound sleep. The kitchen was well equipped and meal prep was easy.

Beautiful, well maintained property with a very well equipped kitchen. The views from the cottage overlooking the lake were amazing and it is ideally located near Point Pelee NP and Hillman Marsh. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely cozy get away in Winter and Summer
We stayed a couple of nights in early February and the heaters, including the wood stove, created a lovely cozy vibe. The place has lots of areas to sit and lounge. A nice backyard with view over Lake Eerie. The lake can also be enjoyed from the upstairs. The area is really nice and quiet. We enjoyed going to the Conservation Area and Point Pelee National Park (the Southern tip of Canada). Great experiences overall!

A weekend near Pelee
We wanted a couple of days away to go to a winery and relax by the water. This location was amazing for both. Relaxing, fully equipped, great location, waterfront and close to all amenities. Loved it and highly recommend it. Will definitely be returning.

The Lake Houz
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Houz. Everything was very clean. It was relaxing to sit by the water and in the Sun room. There is even a great record collection. Would definitely want to return.
