"Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very scenic area. Great views "

"My family had a wonderful experience at Ashe Creek Hideaway. The property is beautiful and quiet, great for stargazing at night and bird watching during the day. The cabin itself is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed playing yard games that were on the property and roasting marshmallows over the large outdoor fire pit. Our dog loved running around the fenced in yard and relaxing on the porch. Short drive to Garner State Park for hiking and picnicking. 100% recommend!"

"Drink morning coffee watching the Sun rise rising right in front of you over a serene portion of the West Frio River. While the Frio is low right now, this West section had water for river walks and playing. Some small perch in a few pools. Hosts go out of their way for a perfect stay. Walk down to the river for those without mobility issues. Hope to return one day. "

"The house was as pictured, clean, perfect for our stay. Great location with lots of privacy and close to park. Our time was spent more outdoors and at park but came back to comfortable beds and warm showers. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve food and drinks. Fire pit was nice at night and played horseshoe and other fun outdoor games.Only suggestion: Would suggest bringing fold out chairs if want to watch TV with all guests with your party. Limited to futon and wood chairs from kitchen table. Would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again."

"Right there for the Three Twisted Sisters ride. Very cute and the Hens with eggs were an amazing touch!!! Such a cute cozy little cabin- absolutely a gem in Leakey! Owners were fast to respond with our questions!! Loved it!"

"This place is in town, very convenient to everything, yet feels like you’re out of town because of the surrounding trees. Beautiful property and accommodations. Very well thought out and comfortable with lots of space. Communication was excellent. Never had any problems but I felt that response would be quick if there was. You will not want to leave!"

"I rented the cabin for a couples getaway and our friends rented the other cabin on the property. This was the perfect set up to for us. We were able to hang out all day, and each couple was able to retire to their own cabin at night. We brought our two dogs and they loved it! "

"The check in process was seamless. Our host was quite possibly the sweetest lady ever. The cabin was very secluded and private, and had immediate private river access. The stargazer is perfectly named, there is zero light pollution out here and the night sky was amazing. I would reccomend 12 out of 10."
