"Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local village. "We were on a day trip to Cherbourg so only stayed for one night but we can highly recommend the hotel for its location and the friendliness of its staff. Our family room had everything we needed, with three beds being provided as requested. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. The bathroom was large and clean. The location is perfect and we received some excellent recommendations of places to eat. Not related to the hotel but Cherbourg itself - we expected there to be more cafes/bars...

"Hotel rooms were comfortable, the window shutters are great. The restaurant serves a regional menu, including regional beers. The breakfast was the standard bread, pastries, cereal, fruits and cheese. The location was easy to find, and a great spot to stay if planning on visiting the town. The town is close enough to walk if you want alternative options for food."
