We were a bit far from the crowds celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, but the drive up to the coast was only marred by the huge crowds and all of the dignitaries present for the occasion. It is better to rely on the photos than the text regarding the number of beds and bathrooms. Good starting point to travel to other cities or sights.
