I recommend going kayaking on the Eure river. It all makes for a relaxing respite from the bustling, overwhelm of Paris. Only one hour away by train, this place is absolutely a gem. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was."

"The hotel itself was fine, but circumstances and location were scary. It was surrounded by an industrial zone. When I arrived on Sunday afternoon, the lobby was locked and no one was there except a maid who was illiterate even in French.
