The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"Ein gemütliches Haus mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett, sprechen aber leider kein Englisch, aber wussten wir vorher. In dem Ort selbst ist nicht viel los. Leider auch kaum Möglichkeiten, um Essen zu gehen. Die kann man aber sehr schön in den benachbarten Orten. Alles in allem bekommt man genau, was man erwartet. Es war sehr nett und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"We had two weeks at this wonderful Gite hosted by a wonderful couple - Brigitte and Thierry. They were very welcoming and their Gite was perfect for three of us, very tastefully decorated and set in an olive grove, lovely to sit and relax in. There was plenty see and do in the region too - a great location for a holiday."

The rooms, beds and kitchen were super comfortable and of good quality furnishings and AC. The pool was lovely and Romain gladly provided an umbrella on the patio by the pool. Ménage non fait, donc maison dans un état de saleté jamais vu dans une location de vacances, clefs non remises, (nous ne les avons pas eues de tout le séjour) piscine à partager contrairement à ce qui est noté sur le descriptif, nids de guêpes sur le bord des fenêtres, poubelle dans un état lamentable, gérante inexistante, wifi qui ne marche pas, piscine fermée même pendant les heures d’ouverture, odeur pestilentielle dans les sanitaires, et pour finir,...
