"What a fabulous boutique hotel, the suite was stunning, spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The two balconies were a plus! Staff was more than helpful and breakfast was spectacular, more than we could eat! It was across from the “Docks” which was wonderful to have so close - the (large) mall and museum was within walking distance as well as the cathedral. My only complaint would be the food and wait staff in the restaurant - he was fairly inattentive and we waited a long time to pay our cheque, we had to walk to the counter after some time to pay and the chicken club sandwich was cold and felt prepared in advance. "The hotel is well located, clean and minimalist. The only critique is that luggage has to be brought up a steep two floors staircase to the reception area. Then there’s a small elevator to go up the other floors. "

"The desk staff were most welcoming, friendly, and helpful which set a very comfortable tone for our two night stay. As we were very tired upon arrival, we chose to eat dinner in the main section of the hotel complex and we’re very happy we did as the food was delicious. "

"Perfect location in the old port. Just a few steps from the metro station and several bus stops. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The internet was spotty. Locking the door using a physical key was a bit of a challenge at first. Hotel Carre Vieux Port was perfect for my short trip to Marseille. "
