Couple of deceptions: in room coffee machine didn’t work; had asked for a wake up call which never occurred. It was lucky I was affected by jet lag & woke up on my own otherwise I could have missed my flight. "

"The Chateau's approach to hospitality is what I call : Low touch, high service. This really allows you to feel like you have the place to yourself. You have all the necessary luxuries of a 5 star hotel but the laid-back ease of a country escape. The staff is always there but with discretion. The property itself is kept very clean and up-to-date with small touches of luxury. The pictures do not do it justice as the furnishings and grounds are immaculate. The restaurant had wonderful food offerings and we were there during the low season so it really just felt like they were there for us. It is about 20 min from AIX, so you need a car, the drive is easy. This property is about relaxing and enjoying the solitude of the countryside. "
