"What a great location and a nice apartment WITH an elevator! Quite spacious with a very large balcony that overlooks the garden below. The bedroom is a little tight so one person has to squeeze past the bottom of the bed but it’s not a big deal.You will find yourself just steps from Cour Mirabeau, the main promenade in town and the delightful, charming winding streets of the old city. "This rental was clean and spacious in a nice quiet hamlet about 3 km south of Rousillon with free parking. However at first it was difficult to find as the listing shows it in the center of Rousillon. Once we found it and met the owner, she was very responsive despite the fact that we spoke little French and she spoke little English. "My partner and I had a lovely stay at 'Les Ecureuils' this past January. The flat was compact, but had everything we needed, and the owners were very pleasant. As we visited during winter, it was quite cold in the house even with the heaters, but there were plenty of extra blankets, so there were no issues there. Lastly, the location is great if you are looking for a peaceful setting and the sunsets from the bedroom window are stunning."

"It was a bit of a puzzle to get into the home But, that was the only hiccup Once it was figured out, getting in and out was easy. A lot of space and wonderful showers. House was very clean and felt like home. Outside sitting space was well shaded and clean. Very easy walk to a lot of shopping and restaurants "

"Apartment was great for me (solo senior traveller). Roomy, comfortable, clean. Everything (except oven) for extended stay. Good wifi. Loft bedroom not an issue for me (might be if you’re mobility challenged). A/C and heat (weather was hot and cool during my stay) worked great. Walking distance (<1.5 km) to everything in the old town, main bus station and train station. Timely, thorough communication with host. Thank you Laura, for a wonderful place to stay in Aix."

"A friend and I rented the apartment for a long weekend. The flat is in a great location right in the old town and close to all the attractions in Aix. It is very clean and well appointed for a short break. As it is centrally located, in a small street, it is noisy as there are bars and restaurants nearby with people around until very early in the morning. There was also noise from people coming back very late in the building. If you don't mind noise, then it is a great flat to rent to explore...

"We wanted to find a town to just relax in and we picked Aix. It was important to have a comfortable place as we were staying 13 nights. This place was perfect. One block over from rue Mirabeau. No more than 8 min walk to any of main squares in old town. Perfect location to go to all the amazing outdoor markets. And grat local restaurants less. Than five min walk. Only tiny complaint. The couch very uncomfortable a new little solid love seat would be preferable "
