"We loved the gite, it was clean, everything was well catered for and it had a great setting. Michel and Martine were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday but were around if we needed them. "Gite superbe, environnement aussi. On a tres bien été renseignés avant notre arrivée et très bien accueilli. A 15 mim du Puy en Velay et ballade a proximité. On y est resté que le temps d'un week-end alors qu'il y a pleins de lieux a découvrir aux alentours."

Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot. Le Chambon-sur-Lignon is quite small, but it has all the shops you might need during your stay (bakers, supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, pharmacy, etc.).
