"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."

"the room was perfect. the bathtub was ever so nice! The doors to the street were lovely and the entire suite was charming. a bit of cream for the body should be included. Travelers from the US visiting more than one spot in Europe expect that for about 300 euros tioiletrieswould be included."

A Beauty in Normandy

"Hotel Le Lion d'Or is Amazing! A complete representation of the Normandy area, beautiful. Main entrance inviting nostalgic and warm. With a very helpful staff. Our suite beautifully decorated with a cozy soft bed. Thank you for a lovely stay. Restaurant la Table du Lion divine dinner, and wine served with impeccable service. Wonderful local cheese, breads, and amazing dessert. "
