"Very convenient to all the DDay Beaches close to Arromanches. A nice little house with with everything you need for a holiday except bath towels, washcloths and bath soap. There is parking onsite for your car and there is also a washing machine and clothesline for drying. The communication with the property owner was excellent. I would highly recommend this property if you are traveling to the beaches at Normandy."

"Great location, wonderful loved home. Hostess was thoughtful. Just a few ideas…. we went in January the whole town was closed. So if you go that time of year in the off season make sure you have car. Bayuex is a 20 minute drive. "

"Perfect location for visiting all D-Day sites. Property sits in the middle of all the museums. Easy walk to local restaurants and Bakery. Frank went out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. The views are spectacular from the house. Woke up every morning to the ocean view and the fisherman coming in and out. Very comfortable. "

"Our holiday home was excellent value for money. So clean, extra care clearly taken to ensure comfort and confidence regarding Covid. Our host was very friendly, the location is perfect, beach and patisserie 5 minutes walk. We would recommend this without reservation."

"Property was lovely and clean, directions to property was not very clear, we found the road ok but no clear directions/signposting to the property, we drove around for half an hour, sought directions from the local campsite and very kind local man guided us there on his bicycle. Property was nice clean but to our tastes the decor was a bit dated . "

"A group of 11 of our family enjoyed the beauty of the area from this super central location! Plenty of private space and bathrooms to accommodate and the kitchen dining and sitting areas were great for all of us to hang out after the day’s activities! Enjoyed the d day sites but also the quaint villages and seaside towns including port en bessin. Make sure to also go to Bayeux to visit a really amazing city and maybe catch the farmers market! Truly loved our stay"

There were two fantastic firework displays in the harbour area, one at the start and one at the end of our week here. Local restaurants all good, especially breakfasts. "We very much enjoyed our recent stay in Ryes! The house is charming and well-equipped, and was the perfect location for exploring Bayeux and the D-Day beaches and museums. The host, Alexandre, shared information about the area, left plenty of instructions for how the house/appliances work, and responded quickly to my messages. Should you have children with you (we did not), the house is well set up to entertain them (with games, a swing set, etc.). Over all, we had a lovely stay and would...

"Very nice little property in good location. Enjoyed our stay. Stairs were very steep, no problem for us, but elder guests may find them difficult. Well equipped throughout. Would stay again!"

"Had a fantastic week in cabourg. The gite was clean, modern and well appointed. Centrally located to the beach and bars and restaurants. Loved cabourg itself, with the long beach/promenade. Dogs allowed on beach before 10 and after 7. Owners stayed next door, there to meet us and to chat to during week. Thanks for the cider 🍏. Would recommend and visit again. Thank you"

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

Calm, quiet stay in beautiful surroundings.

"Beautiful hotel in a quiet location, with comfortable rooms and a very good sleep. We had a chateau room which was delightful and good value. Helpful and friendly staff, though we were caught out by the fact they don’t staff reception all hours, so you are supposed to let them know in advance when you’re arriving, if before 3pm. A few small issues: the bathroom had a bath with shower attachment but there was no high spot to hang the shower head, so had to hold it which makes washing hair very difficult. More than that, the handle was broken so the shower head just spun in our hands, and water went everywhere. Tricky to have a comfortable shower. Breakfast was not really good value for money; we’d recommend grabbing something in town."
