"Cela pourrait s'appeler "la petite maison au bout du chemin" avec son portail bleu, sa cour verdoyante en balcon sur les monts environnants et la ferme en pierre restaurée dans le respect de l'original. Idéal pour visiter les nombreux sites alentours et une maison au confort contemporain pour profiter de la douceur du lieu. It is ideal for large (I would say adult) groups but I would easily return with my husband alone, given its romance. The kitchen has every appliance you can think of from espresso maker to blenders. Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot. Le Chambon-sur-Lignon is quite small, but it has all the shops you might need during your stay (bakers, supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, pharmacy, etc.).
