"We are a group of people that have been travelling together for 35 years so are able to manage the vagaries of different countries and villas. The lounge dinning area was lovely, very spacious and modern, with plenty of seating, not that we used it other than for watching the Queens funeral. "We spent a wonderful 10 days at the Athena villa. The villa was equipped with everything you need to spend your vacation comfortably, conveniently and without any problems. "We started badly, as the day we arrived there was really loud music from a bar next door until 3am. However, we were then changed to another flat where the noise was much less. We also had a few issues with appliances not working, but the property tried to fix them and if they couldn’t they let us use the appliances in another flat that was empty. The manager and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"We had a lovely stay here just troubles with Expedia and host miscommunication, for some reason it never notified the property that we had a booking but that's more on the platform issues. Would recommend IF you have a car as hard to get around without it. Overall beautiful village and stay with a great price. Just make sure the property contacts you more then 24hrs before to be sure. They are lovely people."
