The out door furniture was not useable. It was so dirty, you could not even sit on the deck. Which we were meeting other family members at another house so to us wasn't a big deal but you need to know. "Stayed here for our son’s winter graduation from Clemson - the hosts are awesome! It’s a super location - about 10 minutes from Little John Colosseum where the ceremony was (and about 3 minute drive from Sunny Side cafe - great breakfast!). The cottage was the cutest tiny house and decorated to the hilt in such a fun Clemson way - couldn’t help but smile every time we came in! Highly recommend. "

"The house was a nice cozy house overall. The kitchen was updated with new appliances. Beds were comfortable. Couldn’t spend time on the patio in the evening because the lights didn’t work. Would’ve like to have a fire pit to use. The basement was cold. There was no dock so we couldn’t hang out by the lake and there were to many leaves on the property that should’ve been blown away from the house. "

"It was a lovely cottage on the lake. We loved opening blinds at night and watching the deer. Just be prepared to drive 15 minutes to grocery store but it’s well worth it. We will definitely be back. Only thing I would do that would make better is if there was a rake or small blower to get leaves off deck and clear path to dock. It can get slippery. "

"This property was perfect for staying near family during Christmas break. It was super cozy, beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need! Only 7 min from downtown Hartwell. Would love to stay here again!"
