"Great value for the room"

"Our group chose to stay in Ashburton prior to flying out of Christchurch the next day. Taylors Motel was a great choice. Spacious and clean rooms (we had the 2-bedroom) and lounge area. Kitchen (fridge and stove) was small, however had everything we needed. Quiet location and short walk to shops, cafes. Friendly owners and easy check-in/out. "

"I was disappointed that the fog didn’t lift until the morning of my check-out time. Most of my two night stay there was low fog over the river & you couldn’t see the mountains at all. However the apartment was really spacious & comfortable, plus had everything you could need in the kitchen. The staff were lovely & although I didn’t have a meal at the Clubhouse, I ordered some takeaway snacks which were really delicious. I would go back! "

"Newlands B&B was a lovely haven of peace after the hectic traffic of Christchurch. Christine and Andrew were the perfect hosts and we were lucky enough to have an area of their house all to ourselves. Highly Recommended."

"The staff were very welcoming kind and accomodating of our needs. We enjoyed the simplicity and cleanliness of the place! The only downside which was definitely not a major was the pool was a little green! Other than that it was awesome and we would stay again if we’re ever in the area :) "

"Friendly welcoming host. Room spacious and clean. Light breakfast in morning very nice. Handy to Hot pools that are well worth a visit. Only issue was our room in main lodge backed onto a shower in the room next door so as walls thin when shower was run it was woke you in morning. "
