"Wonderfully located a close distance to the main town of Placencia. This property was super unique and tucked back far enough you felt like you were super secluded. The accommodations were great and the staff attended to any issue that arose. Make sure to take the hummingbird highway down if you drive from the city. Also, don't forget to stop for tamales at Mrs. Betha's at mile-marker 26 on your way down. A couple of quick notes, you are in a tropical location, so we did have some little ants...

"we couldn't have been more impressed with our stay. The owner of the villa we stayed in was just amazing. Her communication from start to finish was stellar. The villa had everything you could possibly think of. the porches on both sides made for wonderful views. Also, make sure you tell your taxi driver to take Sunset Point Road - we don't know where the name Manatee came into place and our taxi wanted to take us to the Manatee Inn which is not the right place."

"Shelley was a great help for us. Answered all my questions and was very curtious. The cabana was a bit on the older side but everything works great. The beach and around our cabanas was swept and cleaned everyday! Even though we were right beside the Barefoot Bar and Tipsy Tuna we had no problem falling asleep at 9 pm! I did use my ear plugs for Saturday night but more of a precaution. If you are a light sleeper than ear plugs would be useful. Thanks again Shelley and Anna. Loved the extra...
