"Elia is a beautiful old property with all mod cons in a stunning location. We stayed six nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here. The house is beautifully styled and the view from the upstairs deck is stunning. "The house is located very close to a super market yet just a short walk from the beach and the Hersonissos strip. It is a great house with air conditioning, great kitchen facilities and many beds. The terrace has a great view of hersonissos and the sea. I highly recommend staying here."

"We stayed here over Christmas and New Years for 16 days with our two sons aged 24 and 18. This is an authentic village house that has been renovated but has not lost its charm. "Wir waren 14 Tage in dieser schönen Gegend Kokkini Hani und dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Als wir ankamen, stand ein Willkommensgeschenk auf dem Tisch- ein leckerer Obstkorb, auch Getränke 🤗. Das war wirklich einmalig lieb. Die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert. "Klein darf es sein und alt, aber nicht schmutzig und abgewohnt. Das ist wirklich sehr schade, da die Windmühle so viel Potential zum Wohlfühlen hätte. Julienne ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe der Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Gern hätten wir die wunderschöne Windmühle mit dem kleinen Garten mehr zum Entspannen, Lesen usw. genutzt. Leider waren aber keine bequemen Stühle oder ähnliches für den Garten vorhanden. Dafür ist die Lage perfekt um den Osten von Kreta zu erkunden. Es sind nur...

"This place was nice. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living area is comfortable. The patio is fantastic, and the view is excellent. There's a second bathroom with a washer on the patio, so you can enjoy the view and the sun while washing your clothes. A road passes directly in from of the house but there isn't much traffic on it, and because this house is up on a hill, the roadway isn't intrusive."

"The place is great value for money if you want to stay by the sea and have 3 bedrooms. It is clean and well equipped. The outside area is wonderful. Especially good was that the cook ware was really usable (it often isn't in holiday homes), the well working washing machine and that there were plenty of towels. "

"A truly wonderful little house, very well appointed with bedding and towels. It's even somewhat of a tourist attraction due to the magnificent Bougainvillea. Just right for two people. Turn left out of the front door and you have 6 tavernas, 4 bars, a super bay to swim in and a well stocked little supermarket. The whole atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxed. Finally Androniki, the owner is fabulous and very attetive."

"Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. "

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"
