"Having visited Las Terrenas regularly since 2008 and watched with dismay how much development is going on taking away the natural beauty of the place especially the area of Punta Popy which is now awash with various establishments that really are just jumping on the bandwagon, it was refreshing to find that the Albachiara Hotel had managed to improve the location where it is situated which if I recall many years ago was run down and delapitated.
