"An amazing building, a modern renovation respectful of its past. Patricia was a patient and attentive host who went out of her way to please. You need to be fit to climb the stairs but it’s all part of sharing in the heritage of this building/school/home. The town is small and has the characteristic steep lanes. We’d recommend finding a spot the locals gather and getting to know a bit about life from their perspective. We’ll be recommending this one to our friends. "

"We were greeted with the warmest welcome. Our room was gorgeous, with special touches, and our view was over the Tuscan countryside. We loved Amelia, the family dog, and all the cats, as well as a very special family. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade treats. This country home also had a bar and restaurant, with the facility to eat inside or outside in the garden. The family was on hand to answer any questions, or assist with information where they could. "The place is pretty nice, I loved the room that my family and I were assigned. The communal kitchen/eating space is delightful. We only stayed the one night but our experience with the morning staff was great. The only issue we had was with actually finding the place, GPS took us to a different place just down the road. Not a big deal except when you're in a foreign country and don't have cell phone service to call the B&B. 5 minute drive the castle at Monteriggioni."
