"We stayed here for a week in September, the only concern is had beforehand was it's closeness to the train station, but this was not a problem at all and it was nice to see the little red train go by. "Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. "We had a wonderful stay here on the ground floor apartment. The kitchen provided a great place to prepare dinner when we weren’t eating out and had great sharp knives and kitchen equipment. We arrived after dark and even though the residence was not far from the Hotel Mirabell where we picked up the key, the map we were provided with was not helpful with finding the residence. "This is probably the nicest holiday rental we have ever stayed in! It’s modern, spacious, with great appliances and a beautiful view of Brixen. We came for a ski trip using the Dolomiti Superski Pass. We skied at Gar Valdena a few days (about 40 minutes away), but our favorite was the PLOSE mountain, just 15 minutes from the house - long, wide slopes. The jacuzzi after skiing was a big plus. There are also ski boot heaters, which we used also to heat our gloves. Don’t hesitate to rent this home....
