"This is our third stay at Thorne Haven and while I didn't think it possible, it was even better than before. I have shared this listing with a number of my work colleagues and they all exclaimed over the gorgeous dining room, the huge kitchen, the insane number of books, games, and movies, and that incredible master suite. Argh, I almost hate to share, but I want Thorne Haven to be available for people to enjoy for years to come. The new stairs to get into and out of the hot tub are amazing for me (I walk with a cane) and while the basement is still has a mildew scent, the dehumidifiers have helped. There are so many hiking trails around, amazing waterfalls, the pond on the property itself is a treasure. I love the sense of history in this home and I wish I knew more about the family who built it, those who lived here, what they did... rambling now, but adore this place. And the current owner is a phenomenally lovely human who goes out of his way to make your stay memorable and relaxing."
