"As perfectly centrally located as I can imagine for Positano. There are better views, more amenities etc. at other places, but Tartana still has a great view and you don’t have to walk far to enjoy everything. As for crowds, you are literally above the crowds in your view patio. All of Positano is steep and narrow, so it pays to be close in. Owner Sylvia was nice as could be, as were the rest of the staff. We chose it based upon the Expedia descriptions and reviews and were not disappointed."

"The location was quiet and very convenient. There is a laundry mat very close by. Check-in was easy and we were able to leave our bags for a couple of hours after check-out before our bus left. I would happily stay again. "

"We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Residenza Il Campanile and highly recommend it. The hotel is located on a street with lots of stores, eateries, coffee and gelato shops. We loved the location and walked everywhere. It is very close to everything - Piazza Tasso, the train station, bus stations (to the Almafi Coast), souvenir shops, etc. Virna and Antonella were so lovely and helpful and made our stay very special. Breakfast was great as well. Will definitely stay there again. "
