"This property has the most beautiful gardens! The studio was very clean, although we did have someone smoking in one of the adjacent apartments and we could smell it. It isn’t the fault of the host, but it would have been miserable if someone in our party had been allergic. The studio is as described in the listing. The kitchen is a nice addition for the space. "My husband, adult son and I stayed for just the one night while travelling.Sue was very pleasant to deal with and most helpful with all our queries.We loved the guest cottage, it was immaculately clean with all kinds of homey touches.We really appreciated the welcome basket and the breakfast items in the fridge. "Perfect home base for things to do in the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. Very family friendly.The only downfall for us was the window air conditioning in the bedroom was kind of loud when trying to sleep. Although no central air, the set up to keep it cool and comfortable worked fine in 80+ degree temps. Overall it was a great stay with 4 adults and 3 kids. Love the convenience of a home vs. hotel."

"Nice condo, but the stairs are dangerous. I would not like to stay here in the summer as there is just one portable A/C unit. The twin bed was very comfortable but the master queen was way too soft. Otherwise everything was good. We enjoyed the provided coffee."

"The house was clean, lots of breakables we had to hide in a closet away from our kids but fine once everything was moved. No counter space to cook but there are several places to eat within walking distance. The neighborhood is nice and seems safe. There is a small park two blocks behind for the kids. The space was perfect for a place to sleep while in town for a memorial."
