"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

We enjoyed our stay We recommend a binder with info for those of us who are not used to UK appliances. "Clean and well located property with fabulous views across Holy isle. Comfy beds and peaceful location with easy access from main road. Walking distance to a number of pubs and hotels serving food but also within a short drive of Brodick. Accomodation facikities are spot on for a short stay and no proble a parking. Nicely decorated apartment with nice personal touches."

"We had a very comfortable stay in Troon. The location was great for walking to the beach, shops, food outlets. Flat is tastefully decorated. Only small gripe was no binbags and maybe some teabags/milk would've been a nice touch. We would certainly stay here agaib!"

"The tea towel for drying dishes was absolutely stinking of dampness, obviously wasn't clean! There was no kitchen roll so had to use one of the bath towels - it also had dirty marks on. The livingroom/sitting area was stinking of dogs. The plug-in air freshener was empty. Couldn't figure out how to use the grill."
