"We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! "Worst hotel ever in my 72 yrs. Locked up when i arrived. Phone # on your site not working. Hard to find down walk path. NO ATTACHED BATH AS ADVERTISED. Mould in room. Thick layer of dust on table & sheets. Staff rude & condescending. I could not stay the night due to allergies. I despise this place i spit on its doorstep. How could you endorse a place like this. Suppose you get paid regardless"

"We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests.There is another excellent restaurant right next door.
