"Everything was great. The house was perfect for a girl’s weekend, plenty of space. The location was fantastic. The views around the house looking out toward the lake were stunning, especially in the morning and evenings when the sandhill cranes were out in the back yard. Even though the weather was cold and the lake was frozen, there was plenty to do. We will definitely consider rebooking in the summertime. Overall, we had a great time and the house worked perfectly for our trip."

"This location was great for our weekend getaway. The lake view was beautiful, I’d imagine it’s even more impressive in the summertime! Large kitchen with plenty of seating, cozy living room area, & comfortable beds with extra blankets in the closets if needed. "

From the swimming pool, to the pool table, the video games, movie room, chef's kitchen, the choices were endless for every one of family members. "Enjoyed our stay, just as descripted and very clean. Love the snacks that were left for us...very nice touch. Motion activated light by the side door would be helpful when trying to check in late at night. Also an end table in the primary bedroom on both sides would be very helpful. "

"The house was very welcoming and perfect for gathering with our family in Michigan. Lots of little extras and things provided to make the stay more comfortable. Loved the view from the kitchen overlooking the river. "

"The house is pretty nice and cozy. It met our needs for a two night visit to the area. They clearly take good care of the property. The only thing to mention is that the listing states a whole house, but there is another rental in the basement. So instead of having peace of mind that you have rented an entire house, there is the possibility of roommates. And you are expected to be careful about the people below you."

"This was the perfect house for a family gathering. We had four adults and three children, ages 3, 7, and 11. We invited their cousins who live in Howell for dinner and a Christmas gathering —one child, age 5, and twins, age 7. They had lots of room to play and connect. The house was comfortable and spacious. Bill was invaluable and accessible. We will book this home again when we return to see the family."
