"Checking in wasn’t so good to be fair. We arrived at the car park to be asked by the person answering the intercom had we checked in online. I did receive an email a few days previous, however when I tried to check in on line I was told that the time had run out for me to check in. I was getting a little concerned as I had arranged for parking and the hotel last year. We eventually got checked in and our car was safely parked. "It was bizarrely easy to hear the other tenants beside/near me. "

"Found it very hard to find parking near the hotel. Initial check in was very confusing as to what floors to go to for meals and access to shopping centre. A map of the city would have been great. Particularly finding the ferry terminal for transferring to the South Island. "

"Very central area for walking to shops/food. I was in a back room so very quiet but did wonder about a tiny window only up a few metres for emergency’s. The shower door was very grubby but otherwise the place was clean and spacious "
